| PRODUCTION Each piece of our cameras are carved from solid blocks of aluminium. Aluminium usually finds its place in space technology. With good reason, it is strong and lightweight. The perfect material for our needs. Another reason for choosing Aluminium over magnesium (nikon and canon cameras) is that it has a much higher melting point and can withstand higher temperatures and still retain its shape. This allows us to eploy the use of our fleet of cutting edge CNC carving machinery to create the most precise dimensions. The latest addition of which was made in 2006 (the HURCO VMX24S) to cope with growing demand. | ASSEMBLY Each piece of our camera is moved downstairs to our assembly area where our two engineers painstakingly piece together the entire camera by hand measuring each dimension as a second quality control check to ensure the highest level of precision. This close attention to detail is what gives our cameras their long lifespan, accuracy and their ability to withstand the most extreme climatic challenges. During the process of assembly each part individually undergoes inspection and anodization and a coat of matte paint to increase its resistance to wear and tear and also to avoid any kind of light reflection within the camera itself. The camera is then packed up and sent to you directly.
