| | With my new series "force and passion" I approach an area that could be called contemporanean monumental photography in the spirit of manierism. I have captured five panorama images with my Roundshot Super 220 VR camera, images that are situated between a film and theater setting, for which an enormous effort of personnel and technical resources was required. In this project I take the role of the narrator - while using allegorical, symbolic and methaphorical elements - to document the state of the Western world in the year 2004. As for all my works I am acting conscient of the currently prevailing aestetical dimensions that are conveyed in fashion, advertisement and cinema as a form of mass culture and use all possibilities that current photo technology offers.
