The panorama (of up to 360°) has such a high definition that it is possible to see even the smallest detail in the image. The digital sensor was developed specifically for photography applications and allows a high dynamic range and vivid colours (allowing details in the sky/clouds as well as in the foreground). The Roundshot Livecam applies the same image algorithms as they are used in our high-end panorama cameras - to the benefit of the image quality.
With our new function "full screen" you feel to be there yourself! The "full screen" feature loads the full image resolution (up to 2x full HDTV!) at a simple click of a button. "Full screen" is part of our FTP and web hosting service.
The new Roundshot Livecam is equipped with a very sensitive RGB scanning sensor which makes it possible to capture the full 360° panorama in a matter of a few seconds.
Thanks to this high sensitivity and speed, the high dynamic range of the sensor (9 f-stops) and the Seitz image optimisation technology it is possible to capture images full of beauty from early morning dawn until late night sunset.

It is designed as an independent system that can directly host your Livecam webpage on the internet. What is the difference between a conventional webcam and a Roundshot Livecam?
Firstly: the image. You obtain more image angle (up to 360°) than any other camera offers. The seamless panorama (without stitching) and the beautiful colours gives you the impression to be there yourself. The image resolution is very high (up to 66 million pixels) and invites to explore details. As the image rotates continuously, your website is always in motion.
Secondly: the features. We have programmed some exceptional features never seen before in a webcam!
Thirdly: the graphics. It is simple to understand and makes your website visitors stay on your webpage for a longer time. It is attractive and always new - your website visitors will come back again and again.
Load images from one of our databases (small, large). Navigate in the images in the browser or download (right mouse-click) on your computer. You can even print high-resolution images!
Load an image from our ecard database and send it to your friends or family as an animated electronic greeting card. Create an e-campaign by sending ecards to your business partners. This is a creative and positive way of communicating and creates traffic on your Livecam server.
Zoom in directly on the panorama with two easy clicks. Or download the last large panorama and view it in detail on your computer.
Travel through time and create your personal animated film. See the passage of the sun and the clouds. View the movement in town. See the change of the seasons throughout the year. A fascinating feature!
Activate embedded points-of-interest in the image and have, for example, the peaks of a mountain chain explained. A great way to integrate Livecam sponsors as well who can display, for example, their corporate building on the panorama. Click on the hot-spots to activate related links to another webpage.
Link to the weather module (weathercam) with detailed data on temperature, humidity, rain, wind, air pressure and brightness. Charts showing the weather evolution over time (24h, 7 days, 30 days, 1 year). Use the archive function to bring together a 360° panorama with the actual weather data at any point in time.

Every location is different and requires different camera parameters. This is the exact purpose of the Roundshot capture software. It allows you to adapt the camera to your specific needs and preferences. We have developed these functions in close cooperation with our customers.
The installation is easy
The Roundshot Livecam is easily installed. You require:

Of course our team of specialists can help you prepare the installation and give you practical tips and a check-list. If you like we can do the installation for you. Provided that everything is prepared well the installation of the Livecam should not take longer than a day.
